For Language Learners

Vocabulary that actually sticks

Revu uses FSRS-powered spaced repetition to schedule your vocabulary reviews at the optimal moment -- right before you forget. Build a daily habit that compounds into lasting fluency.

Core features

Everything you need for language study

Import your word lists, create contextual cards, and let FSRS handle the scheduling so you never forget what you've learned.

Import vocab lists

Paste or import word lists from any source. Revu auto-generates front/back cards so you can start reviewing immediately -- no manual card creation required.

Cloze deletions

Create fill-in-the-blank cards for grammar patterns, sentence structures, and conjugations. Context stays intact so you learn words in natural usage, not isolation.

FSRS scheduling

The FSRS algorithm calculates optimal review intervals for each word, preventing forgetting while minimizing daily review time. No more over-reviewing easy words.

Offline support

Study vocabulary anywhere without an internet connection. Your cards, progress, and scheduling all work fully offline -- on the train, at a cafe, or abroad.

FAQ

Common questions from language learners

Can I import from Duolingo or Memrise?

Not directly — Revu doesn’t connect to those services. However, you can paste vocabulary lists into Revu and it will generate cards automatically. Export your word lists from those apps as text, then import them into a Revu deck.

Does it support non-Latin scripts?

Yes. Revu has full Unicode support, so you can create cards in any script — CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean), Arabic, Hebrew, Cyrillic, Devanagari, Thai, and more. Cards render correctly in both directions.

Can I add audio to cards?

Not yet. Revu currently supports text-based cards only. Audio attachments for pronunciation practice are on the roadmap but not available in the current version.
