1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Revu ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Revu is a spaced repetition learning platform. The Service allows you to organize study materials, generate flashcards and review schedules, and track your learning progress. Certain features, including AI-powered card generation and cloud sync, require an account and may be subject to usage limits.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Circumvent any access controls or usage limits
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create and store in Revu, including flashcards, notes, and study materials. By using AI features, you grant us a limited license to process your submitted content solely for the purpose of generating cards and responses. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Intellectual Property

Revu, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is the intellectual property of Revu Labs. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and can be cancelled at any time. Refunds are handled in accordance with our billing terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Revu is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revu Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

10. Data and Backups

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for data loss due to hardware failure, accidental deletion, or other causes beyond our control. We recommend regularly exporting your study data.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the platform or updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Revu after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
